The hearing will be held in public at North Yorkshire Police Headquarters, Alverton Court, Crosby Road, Northallerton, DL6 1BF and the panel, whom will decide PC Hudson’s fate, will be chaired by Chief Constable Lisa Winward.

Earlier this year, PC Hudson, 32, who lives in the Marsh area of Huddersfield, was cleared by a jury at Leeds Crown Court after a trial over a single allegation of sexual assault following an incident in a police van parked in Stonefall Cemetery, off Wetherby Road, Harrogate in February, 2022. He had denied wrongdoing throughout.

After the five day trial concluded at the end of February, a NYP spokesperson said: ‘PC Hudson is currently suspended and will appear at a misconduct hearing in June, 2023’.
