In another minor triumph for public interest journalism, an objection raised with the Registrar of Companies against the striking off of a troubled Ormskirk-based computer firm has been upheld.

In an email earlier today, Companies House said:

“Dear Neil

“DANOLI SOLUTIONS LTD – 05540037

“Thank you for your email.

“We acknowledge receipt of your objection to the striking off/dissolution of the above company. In view of the information and evidence supplied we can confirm we’ve stopped this action until the 2nd February 2024.

“To maintain the objection after this date, you’ll need to provide acceptable evidence to show progress in resolving outstanding matters. This evidence should be received at least 2 weeks before the objection is due to expire.

“If we don’t receive further evidence, the striking off action will resume, and this may result in the company being struck off and dissolved.

“As part of our work to digitally transform our services, we have created a new Apply to object to a company being struck off service.

“This new service will provide you with an instant response to your request and will therefore reduce any delay in processing times.

“If you would like to use this service to maintain your objection, please use the following link:

“I would be grateful if you could confirm in writing, whether you consent for Companies House to divulge your identity as the objector and provide your contact details should this information be requested.

“If you agree to divulge, please confirm whether you are objecting as an individual or on behalf of a company and confirm the contact details you would like us to provide to the requestor i.e. a postal address, email and/or contact number.

“Please note; details of the identity of objectors does not appear in the public domain. If you consent to divulge your identity, this information will only be provided to the company or a representative who has a written authority to act on their behalf.

“Kind regards,
