
On Saturday, September 2nd, 2023, Greater Manchester Police apprehended a 39-year-old male who had been wanted on suspicion of multiple fraud by false representation offences.
The arrest took place in Shaw, where the suspect was discovered by police officers hiding in a shed (read more here).
Subsequently, the individual was taken into custody at Oldham police station for further questioning.
Yesterday, Sunday, September 3rd, 2023, Daniel Mather (DoB 16.8.1984), of Longfellow Crescent in Oldham, has been formally charged with two counts of fraud by false representation.
He has been remanded into custody and will appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court on Monday, September 4, 2023.
