A West Yorkshire Police officer, PC 1792 Kevin Wood, has been dismissed from the force, without notice, following disciplinary proceedings.

A misconduct hearing over allegedly breaching the Standards of Professional Behaviour in relation to: Authority, Respect & Courtesy and Discreditable Conduct was listed for 14^th & 15^th December 2022.

It was alleged that the officer, whilst on duty, slapped two female colleagues on the bottom.

The force Legally Qualified Chair has, to date, not issued a written misconduct decision for this hearing. The force confirmed the dismissal of PC Wood on 3rd January, 2023
