Two West Yorkshire Police officers are due to appear at court tomorrow, both charged with sexual offences. 

PC Gary Cavanagh, 59, who works in the force’s Leeds District, has been charged with one count of sexual assault. 

The charge relates to an off-duty offence. 

PC Simon Clarke, 52, who also works in Leeds District, has been charged with two counts of sexual assault. 

The charges relate to offences committed whilst on duty against one victim. 

Both PC Cavanagh and PC Clarke are currently suspended from duty. 

They will appear at Bradford Magistrates’ Court on 8th January, 2024.
