GMP officer facing dishonesty charges at misconduct hearing

The latest Misconduct Hearing involving a Greater Manchester Police officer will begin at 10.00am. on Monday 12th December 2022 with a time estimate of 3 days.

The hearing will take place in PSB Offices, Unit A, Northampton Road, Manchester, M40 5BP.

PC Taylor will answer allegations that her conduct amounts to a breach of the Standards of Professional Behaviour for Discreditable Conduct and Honestly and Integrity contrary to the Police (Conduct) Regulations 2012.

GMP say the need to manage those persons attending the hearing will limit numbers to 12 in total.

If members of the press or public wish to observe the hearing, they are required to pre-register via the GMP website (weblink here), leaving their details including contact telephone number and email address. Anyone who has not pre-registered will not be allowed to attend the hearing.

No external recording or filming of the proceedings is allowed. Anyone being disruptive during the hearing will be required to leave.

A request to GMP press office has been made in respect of further identifying PC Taylor by her given name and collar number.
