West Yorkshire Police say that Adil Akksar, 29, of Chapel Street, Bradford, has been charged with possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence following an incident involving an imitation gun at West Yorkshire Police premises.
The public help desk at Trafalgar House police station, on Nelson Street in Bradford city centre, was closed following the incident at about 10:00am on Saturday.
He is due to appear at Bradford Magistrates’ Court on Monday where he will also face a charge of being in possession of a bladed article in a public place,
