A 22 year old West Yorkshire Police officer, based in the force’s Bradford district, appeared at Leeds Magistrates’ Court yesterday (23rd August, 2022).
Jonathan Holmes, faces three charges: The attempted rape of a woman over 16 years old; sexual assault on a female; and perverting the course of justice.
The alleged offences are said to have happened on 28th October , 2021
Holmes stands accused of attempting to put his penis inside a woman’s mouth, without her consent, and also sexually touching a woman without her consent.
It is also alleged the officer deleted the content of a mobile phone, giving rise to the allegation of pervert justice.
The court granted Holmes conditional bail until his next court appearance. A plea and case management hearing is listed for 20th, September 2022 at Leeds Crown Court.
