Court lists published for Monday 23rd January, 2023 show that Raja Miah, 49, unemployed and resident in Stamford Street, Mossley will appear in Court 6 at Manchester Magistrates’ Court at 10am.
Miah, who remains on conditional court bail, is facing a charge of harassing a 40 year old female lawyer from the Salford area. He pleaded not guilty at a hearing in Tameside Magistrates’ Court in February, 2022 at which the complainant was granted anonymity.
Earlier this week, on Tuesday 17th January, 2023, Miah appeared in Manchester at a pre-trial review, ahead of a two day trial listed for 2nd and 3rd February, 2023 in the same court centre.
This will be the twelfth time inside a year that Raja Miah has been involved in magistrates’ court cases heard across the Greater Manchester region, taking in the aforementioned Manchester and Tameside – and including a visit to Wigan Magistrates’ Court in December, 2022 (read more here).
