At a short hearing on 15th September, 2022, at Manchester Magistrates’ Court, a date was listed for the trial of an unemployed conspiracy theorist from Tameside.
Raja Miah, 49, denies a charge of harassment without violence and a trial on 2nd and 3rd February, 2023 will hear that he is alleged to have made social media posts that he would have known would cause distress to a 40yo lawyer from the Salford area.
A further case management hearing will take place at the same court on 10th November, 2022.
Miah was released on conditional court bail.
By coincidence, the second day of the trial coincides with the first anniversary of Raja Miah’s first appearance in these proceedings which were heard on 3rd February, 2022 at Tameside Magistrates’ Court.
